Sometimes we need to pray about a situation, but other times we need to say, to command, or demand the enemy to stop his maneuvers. Pastor Syd explains the meaning of “ask” as it is used in different Scriptures.

We can pray for petitions, supplications, and requests. Matthew and Luke tell us to ask, seek, and knock. Ask, claim, and receive what is already yours. Come boldly into the throne room as a covenant child of God. Prayer changes situations.

Different situations require different kinds of prayer. Pastor Syd powerfully exhorted us to intercede for God’s will to be done and for other people. Intercession may require laboring fervently. He gave Biblical examples of intercession, as well as personal ones.

Pastor Syd preached his 12th message on prayer. Jesus quoted the Old Covenant calling the temple , the house of prayer. Since the 1100s, the church has been called a house of worship. Our meetings should be times of prayer, conversation with the Father. Prayer is power and is the earthly license for heavenly interference. We need to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways. Surrender to Him and receive His grace.
