Pradeep Perera from Sri Lanka uses Mark 5:24-34 as his text. Salvation, healing, and your future are personal to you. No one can predict you. You must be determined, just as the woman with the issue of blood made a choice, was determined to make a connection with Jesus, and was made well by her faith. She pulled the power of God into her situation. We need to receive our breakthrough, which is already done.

Elements of Healing

Listen

John 5:1-9, 14. Pastor Dale expounds on 4 elements of healing: God heals through the gifts of the Spirit. We can be healed by our faith in Jesus Christ- through the anointing. We can be healed if we are under an authority (ex.-a church body) that believes I divine healing. Pastor Dale explains that the anointing is not the gifts of the Spirit.

Healing

How can you have faith for healing? (1) God’s personality is to heal, because He is the healer (ex. 15:26; Ex. 23:25). (2) God gave us promises that He heals (Ps. 91:10, 7, 16; Ps. 103:1-3). (3) Healing is in the atonement; Jesus provided for healing when He died (Is. 53:4; Matt. 8:16-17) (4) It’s God’s will to heal (Matt. 8:2-3; III John 2). (5) Healing glorifies God (Mark2:12; Ezekiel 34:2). The church is to be God’s healing agents. Listen to Pastor Dale’s testimonies: wart on knee; God’s birthday present to him; Brother Dreshner speaking to his bones; boil under his arm in Georgia (Russia); Billy Graham with Chinese interpreter saying “sicknesses and diseases when reading Is. 53:4; young female worship leader beaten in Georgia and healed.

How to Walk and Stay in Healing

Using Mark 5:21-42, Ron Bruce clearly elaborates on how two people, Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood, were healed. Jairus’ faith was tested when Jesus’ healing power was drawn out by the woman needing healing and again when he received the word that his daughter was already dead. The woman received an instant miracle. Jairus had to keep believing, even when the facts did not affirm his believing. He trusted in Jesus, who is the Word. He kept quiet and let the Word, Jesus, do the speaking. We must come to the Word, Jesus, bow down to Him, seek the Word diligently, keep in faith, believing and speaking the truth regardless of the facts, and rejoice and be thankful for our healing, even if the physical facts do not agree.

Mercy and Truth, Not Tradition, Regarding Healing

Sunday April 18, 2010
Speaker:
Series:
Listen

Listen as Pastor Dale expounds on the truth about Paul’s thorn in the flesh and also God’s willingness to heal. What was God’s mercy to someone in the Bible becomes truth to us. Whatever is God’s grace to us is sufficient; we do not need to keep carrying around what Satan has tried to put on us. God is compassionate, but He is also willing to heal you. What did Jesus do on the earth? He taught, preached, and healed people. We are to be His laborers, doing the same things He did. There is life in holding onto the mercy that has turned into truth.

Healing at the Cross is for All

Ps. 103:1-3. Healing is about power and the true intellect of the Word of God. Biased pseudo-intellectualism has changed God’s Word. God’s benefits are forgiveness and healing. Is. 53:4 and 5 is a prophetic utterance of the crucified Christ. Pseudo-intellectuals changed the translation of “pain and sickness” to griefs and sorrows. Matthew translates it from the Hebrew in Matt. 8:16,17 to infirmities and sicknesses. Jesus bore our sickness at the same time He bore our sins. Jesus died for ALL, but just like all do not receive salvation by of their choice, so all do not receive God’s healing power by their own choice. Mark 9:14-29 tells of the demon-possessed boy that Jesus healed, but His disciples couldn’t. Jesus had to work with the boy’s father to help him have faith to get rid of all the previous religious teaching the man had about why God’s power doesn’t work. Listen to hear why people do not receive their healing. Healing gives God glory. Scriptures that tell us that Jesus healed all kinds of sickness and disease and healed all: Matt. 4:23; Matt. 9:35; Matt. 12:15; Matt. 14:14; Luke 6:17-19.

Divine Healing: How to Receive Your Healing

Sunday May 2, 2010
Speaker:
Series:
Listen

Ps. 112:1-6. Jesus already provided for your healing. It is for you! Praise the Lord, give Him reverential respect (fear), delight in God’s Word, get to know Jesus, the Healer, and receive your healing by acquiring the Word. Value both the Word and His Spirit. An established heart precedes healing, which means that you’re not afraid of a bad report (evil tidings). Rom. 4:16 says that faith comes after grace. God gives us grace, and we receive by faith. Consider the Word and look at the Word, and praise and thank God for His healing promise. Act on the Word that has found its place in you. You won’t even have to think what to do.

Haiti and Healing

Chester shared videos and testimonies from his recent trip to Haiti, where medical teams and a ministry under his direction were serving. (Sam Zook also shared testimonies.) He also preached on God’s divine healing through Jesus Christ. It is God’s will to heal everyone. Using Scriptures, he affirms that God has provided for our healing, and it’s up to us to access it. Why don’t people receive healing? Lack of knowledge of God’s promises; failing to ask God; questioning God’s will; sin, which separates us from God; failure to act on God’s Word; thinking it’s not God’s time to heal; misunderstanding Paul’s thorn in the flesh; misunderstanding Job. How can a person overcome? Stand on the Scriptures; know you have authority over the devil and sickness; focus and saturate yourself on Scriptures; examine your heart; know you’re delivered from curses, such as sickness; establish a point of contact for your healing; confess the Word; hold fast to the promises and do not waver. We pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and in heaven there is no sickness or disease. We are healed, and we are to lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

“Praise: The Highest Form of Faith”

Wednesday May 30, 2012
Speaker:
Series:
Listen

Pastor Dale and others shared testimonies of God’s wonderful power and healing. What would you do if you were completely healed? Start doing it and release your faith by praising God. Praise is the highest form of faith. God’s Word works. Praise and thank Him for all He has done. Stir yourself up. If you are fighting a habit, apply praise to it. Fear is the opposite of praise; it is faith in the wrong thing. Mark 11:22-23 tells you that you will have what you say. Believe that what you say will come to pass. Are you saying what you want? Pastor Dale gave the challenge of praising God every time you brush your teeth.

Healing: The Priority of the Word and Praise

Friday November 16, 2012

In Acts 4:23 we see healing as a response to political persecution. Our country needs a healing revival. We start by hearing and receiving the Word of God on healing. The Word of God must be a priority in your life. It’s your responsibility to find it for yourself, because the Word is life and healing to you (Luke 5:15; Luke 6:17; Prov. 4:20-23). Step 1 is to get your priorities right by preferring the Word over current events, the doctor’s report, or whatever is coming against you. Pastor Dale shares a powerful testimony  of two miracle healings as a result of a woman’s hunger for the Word. The Word must be in your daily life so that you have life and health. Another step is to not be anxious, but to pray and supplicate with thanksgiving, letting your requests be made known to God (Phil. 4:6-8). Meditate and think on the Word and good things, not on things that won’t help you. Praise, thank, and worship God until the peace of God comes that will guard your heart and mind. Even a “little bit” of the Word can bring life and healing to you. The crippled man in Acts 14:7-8 had faith to be healed, but it wasn’t until he acted on it that the man was healed. Get the Word for yourself, thank and praise God, and then act on the Word.

Healing: Faith is An Action

In Luke 5:15-20 people came to hear first and then to be healed. The power of the Lord was present to heal, but the  healing that is recorded was a paralyzed man whose friends acted in faith to lower him through a roof to access Jesus. Faith must be a visible act. Jesus demonstrated by healing  the paralytic that He also had the power  to forgive sins. In John 3:14, 2 Cor. 5:21, Gal. 3:13, Rom. 5:12 Jesus’ death on the cross provided for our sacrifice (payment for the consequence of sin) and our substitution (the judgment for our sin). Sickness is  the process of death. When Jesus dealt with sin, He dealt with sickness. Stay in and fulfill your purpose. Isaiah 52:13- 53:4 tell us what is Jesus’ finished purpose- salvation, healing, peace. Redemption includes healing (Matt. 8:17, Is. 53:1, 1 Peter 2:24). Because of Jesus, we were and are healed. Choose to believe that you are healed. Pastor Dale shares how he acted on the Word to receive his healing from asthma. Faith is an act. The price was paid on the cross. Put your faith in the direction of your healing.

Healing: Putting the Word First in Your Life

(Prov. 4:20-23) We need to keep our hearts with all diligence. Just like a farmer checks his fences regularly, we need to be diligent to attend to the Word. The Word will change our lives. Don’t be lazy about getting into the Word, because that’s where there is victory. If the Word is in you, you can handle problems when they come. Rom. 4:17-21 tells us that Abraham strengthened himself in faith, giving glory to God. Enjoy your time with God. Pastor Dale relates how people in Armenia and Russia went out of their way and put much effort into getting someone to a healing service and then saw miracles. If we want to see the power of God, get into prayer and praise and make it a priority. Develop a taste for the glory of God. You’ll never have a strong faith life without a strong praise life. Pastor Dale gives powerful testimonies of people who were healed and delivered. The importance is giving glory to God.

Healing: Responding to the Spirit of God

Sunday November 18, 2012

There were testimonies of healings during previous services. Pastor Dale tells of many experiences in which the Spirit of God  moved in services to bring miracles, healings, and deliverance. Healing may come through the preaching of the Word of God, but there are times when it comes through a move of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman and will ask what you want, not assuming anything. When the Spirit moves, you must cooperate quickly in order to receive. The anointing is the power of God. There are seasons when the Spirit moves, and we need to move with Him (John 5:1-9). Angels bring new seasons and gifts from heaven. When it’s in season, everyone can get in. He moves to relieve pain, to advertise to others who need to know of His healing power, and to diabolically oppose the devil (Acts 10:38). Don’t live with or cope with sickness. It’s from the devil, and God won’t cooperate with him. When Satan is coming in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will come, too.

Healing: It Impacts Others and Starts in the Spirit

Series:

Pastor Dale teaches about the importance of miracles and healings in impacting many other people, even as Paul and Silas’ praising opened doors and loosed bands (Acts 10:25-26). In Mark 5:25 the woman with the bleeding problem heard about Jesus. What did she hear about Him? What do people hear about Jesus from you? You can have the power and anointing of God in you, and you don’t know it. You conduct God’s power, and some people will be repelled by you or attracted to you by it. Prov. 4:20-25 and 3 John 2 and Mark 4:14 tell the importance of attending to God’s Word and of our soul prosperity in relation to our health. The challenge is that Satan immediately comes to steal the Word. Do you value the Word? People died to get the Bible available to us. Sometimes traditions make the Word of no effect (Matt. 15:6b and Mark 7:13). Decide as an individual to get into the Word and to not be molded by the pressure of the world. Seek God on your own. Renewing the mind means thinking like God, seeing like God, and reacting like God. Once you’re a new creation, you need to pull down any of Satan’s strongholds that you have (2 Cor. 10:3-5). Get hungrier for the Word, because it’s slipping from our culture.

Healing: Keep Your Heart

Sunday November 25, 2012

Text: Prov. 4:20-23. How do you keep (guard) your heart with all diligence as we are told to do in our text? First of all, you need to walk in the peace of God (Phil. 4:6-7). God wants you to prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. God works from the inside (your heart) out.  When you’re not in peace, your heart is vulnerable. We are NOT to worry, but through prayer with thanksgiving, we are to let our requests be made known to God. Keep in a focused place. A “keep” is a fortification at a strategic place. When you keep your heart, the devil can’t get in. How do you take care of worry? First Peter  5:7 tells you to cast your care on Him, because He cares for you. Don’t try to be stronger than your cares, but start praising Him, replacing the worry with thanksgiving. The result? Peace. Pastor Dale tells about Terry Law’s experience with extreme cares upon the death of his wife and children. When Terry gave his sacrifice of praise, he entered into God’s peace. Keep your mind stayed on God (Is. 26:3), and He will keep your heart in perfect peace. Meditate on Him and be still. Delight in Him, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Ps. 37:4-7). Stay in God’s Word and presence until you get His peace.

Healing – Is It God’s Will to Heal Today

Sunday January 17, 2016
Speaker:
Series:

When we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. Then we can know that we have what we ask (1 John 5:14). Luke 5:12, 13 is about Jesus being willing to cleanse the leper. Jesus is always willing, but the hindrance is our lack of faith. We are told in Isaiah 52:14 – 53:5 that Jesus bore our sicknesses and diseases (incorrectly translated “griefs” in some translations), and carried our pains (sometimes translated “sorrows”), and by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. Matthew 8:14-17 says that He healed all who were sick, and quoting Isaiah, he wrote, He took our weaknesses (infirmities) and bore our sicknesses. First Peter 2:24 notes that He bore our sins, by whose stripes we were healed (past tense). He already provided for our healing. We enforce His Word in our healing. We take it. Acts 3:1-10 is about the lame man who was healed in the name of Jesus Christ. He did not just stand, but he leaped, praising God. The Greek word for “saved” is sozo, meaning physical healing, deliverance, well-being, and more. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that the man was made whole (Acts 4:8-12). There is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. Christ redeemed us from the law (Galatians 3:13). What does that mean? Deuteronomy 28:16-68 are the things that are curses. [They are the curses we have been redeemed from.] We are to go and preach, and those who believe and are baptized will be saved. There would be signs to those who believe, such as laying hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:15-18). If you are suffering, pray for yourself. If you are sick, call for the elders of the church and let them pray over you and anoint you in the name of Jesus, and if you believe, the Lord will raise him up. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man makes great power available. We need meekness of heart to believe and receive. The humble get the grace.

Believe and Receive Healing

Saturday January 21, 2017

[There was a tongue and interpretation given about the Holy Spirit in us.] Brian Wills: Salvation includes healing and wholeness. We can receive healing at any time, at any place. Isaiah 53:4-5 says that by Jesus’ stripes we are healed. Here are three things about healing: 1) God can. Jesus is the Healer. 2) God did. Isaiah 53 says He purchased our salvation. Healing is a promise and a purchase. Healing and salvation are one. We can receive what He already purchased for us. 3) God will heal, because He already did it. It is harder to conquer something you have (sickness and disease) than to receive something you already have (healing). Receive your healing. Brian told of a man who was to minister healing when he did not believe in Jesus as Healer. He ministered to a woman without legs, and the next day she came in walking on legs. God said that in His mind, He saw her with legs. Someone on earth was needed to make a declaration about it. Luke 13:10 is about the woman who was loosed from an eighteen year infirmity. She was a covenant woman. When Jesus ministered, most people were healed or saw miracles, rather than receiving a recovery. Brian told of a Penn State young man who had a metal rod in his leg as a result of being crushed in an accident. Brian ministered to him, and he ran out of the wheelchair. He had new bones and no metal when the doctors checked him out. When Brian was dying of cancer, people from his church drove hours to see him, gasped upon seeing him, and turned around and went home. BUT GOD! We believe in what God is able to do. Brian made a promise of consecration to God to do whatever He wanted him to do, if He would get him healed and out of the hospital. God told him that his healing would manifest as he did the steps God told him to do. He realized that the Holy Spirit is a real person. He is our helper. We can call on Him, and He is there to lead us out of sickness into health. He carries out the Word of God. Kenneth Hagin read Mark 11:23 when he had an incurable blood disease and believed and acted on the truth that he was healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ. God does what you cannot do. He lives inside of you and comes upon you to change you. Receive your healing through the Word and the Holy Spirit. Characteristics of healing are: 1) a seed (truth), 2) a revelation (He will show you something.), and 3) action. Faith is an action. When Brian was dying, one of the steps God told him to take was a victory lap. He walked around the “death” floor of the hospital with his hands raised, praising God, and speaking the Word. The nurses and psychiatrists thought he was crazy. The enemy (Satan) tries to make you feel inadequate, but healing is based on Jesus, not you. Take yourself out of the way.

From Being to Doing: The Great Commission

[A word was given: Jesus, part of the “Us” in Genesis, came that we might know the love of the Father. He is worthy of all praise. He is our only salvation. Will you trust in Him?] Pastor Sydney: If dealing with a life-threatening issue, there is encouragement and warning in Luke 21:34-38. Being drunk, hung-over, or worrying will harden your heart and will dull your senses. Worry is just as bad as being drunk or hung-over. Our hearts should not be weighed down in fear and worry. Repent of it. Talk His will and His answer. Cast all your care on Him. Fear stops progress. Pastor told of someone who came to visit a neighbor for a gathering. She drove her van too close to the pond, and the car’s wheel went into the pond. The homeowner tried to pull the van out with a tractor, but it wouldn’t budge. The woman asked if it would help to take off the brakes. Fear is like having the brakes on; it stops the progress. Brian Wills: Mark 16:17, 18; Acts 5:12, 15-16. Consecration and surrender can bring about a movement, a transition of power on the church. The church is going from being to doing. John 14:12 tells about the works that we will do. In 2009 Jesus appeared to Bob Weiner, who started Maranatha. He said that the Spirit is going to move, that the USA is the only nation founded because people were looking for a place for freedom to worship God. For forty-fifty years, the enemy has been sowing seeds, but God is going to expose and uproot the evil. This means greater responsibility. Signs are supposed to follow those who believe. Believers are to lay hands on the sick for them to be healed. Acts 5:12 says that signs and wonders were done among the people through the hands of the apostles, the sent ones. We are sent ones. They literally dragged in the sick, and they were all healed through the hands of ordinary believers. God created us to do supernatural things. We are carriers of His presence and glory in the earth. We have something that the world needs. We are to be world-changers, world-shakers. We have this treasure (the wealth of heaven) in earthen vessels (our bodies). Jesus said there will be a generation that will look like Him. If you abide in Christ, then you should act like Jesus (1 John 2:4). Are we preaching the gospel and laying hands on the sick? George Pearson prophetically said, “I want My Church back. I want the book of Acts Church, a glorious Church. There will be churches having healing school everyday. Word of Faith churches will be healing churches. Believers shall do the works.” We are all ambassadors. We represent Jesus. Ambassadors are not subject to the law of the land they are in. We are immune (John G. Lake). We are not under the law of sin and death (Romans 8). Keep your soul in communion with Christ Jesus. The laws of your home country apply to you as an ambassador. We need to live from the inside out. We are containers of the life of God. How do we go from being to doing? 1) Begin to go to Luke 4. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you. He has anointed you to preach the gospel, cast out demons, and to heal the sick. 2) Read and study Jesus’ healing Scriptures in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Put yourself in Jesus’ shoes. See yourself doing the works of Jesus. For a long time Brian prayed for the sick to be healed, and they didn’t. Then he went to Mexico as a trainee under a super-healing evangelist. He laid hands on people until he got to someone in a wheelchair. He didn’t know what to do, and the evangelist told him to keep praying and releasing the power of God. You will never do until you see yourself doing it. The excellency is of God, not ourselves. Jesus did and said what He heard and saw the Father say and do. We become one with Him. There will be an anointing on small children. God has put a hunger in us. A worship leader in the Welsh revival prayed for a blind man, and he was healed. Then every blind person he prayed for was healed.
