Various people shared their powerful testimonies. God wants you to sharpen your personal Word, you and your relationships, and your prayer life.
Three Eternal Truths
Create In Me A Clean Heart
Understanding Faith
Visible things come from the invisible, the spirit realm. Faith can see invisible things. Your faith doesn’t bring understanding; they are two different things. Believe the things you say will come to pass.
Redeemed from the Curse of the Law
How To Get The Most Out of Church – part 1
We need to know how to conduct ourselves in church and to be planted in it. The purpose of going to church is to put truth into functional practice. The church is to be the pillar of truth.
How To Get The Most Out of Church – part 2
Our lives must line up with the truth. Even Jesus taught that people need a shepherd, so they don’t become weary and scattered. We need the anointing of a pastor to “perfect what is lacking in our faith.” The church cares for its “babies.”
How To Get The Most Out of Church – part 3
The pastor must have God’s heart. His office keeps us stable and functioning. He feeds us with truth, but we must be willing to accept the truth he speaks. He has the ability and grace to deliver us.
Missions Faith Promise
Find the purpose of the Ten Commandments. Pastor Syd addressed the issue of receiving “words.” We watched a video from Dan Betzer about giving to missions. We submitted our faith promise for missions.
Worship
There is a tithe message by Jen and a very short talk by Kevin. The main service was a worship night. The worship is not on this link due to copyrights and logistics.
Pastor Jen: We honor the Lord by bringing the tithe, putting God first in our lives, and applying God’s wisdom. Kevin Burrows: Locate yourself by asking who you are consistently as part of the Church. God wants to restore the Church with intimate worship, hearing the Lord, and loving one another.
Discipline
Book of Relations
Pastor Syd read the book of Revelation to the congregation.
Faith Mission Sunday
Hebrews – Chapter 1 – part 1
The book of Hebrews is about the superiority of Jesus Christ. It was written to warn early believers from drifting away from faith. To know God, look at Jesus.
Hebrews – Chapter 1 – part 1
Hebrews – Chapter 1 & Chapter 2
Hebrews 1:4-2:9. Jesus is superior to the angels. The author of Hebrews gives the first warning of drifting to the Jewish believers in Hebrews.
Hebrews – Chapter 1 & Chapter 2
Rejoice In The Lord Always
The Guest gave us a report on their ministry work. He preached on Philippians 4:4-8, not worrying, being thankful, praying, and staying focused on Jesus. Pastor Syd led an extended prayer time.
Rejoice in the Lord!
Hebrews – Chapter 2 & Chapter 3
Hebrews 2:14-3:15. Satan’s only power is the fear of death, but Jesus took care of spiritual death. We can trust God. God takes it personally when we do not trust His people who are led by God (Moses, Koran, Saul/Paul).
Hebrews – Chapter 3
Your Yes
Our “yes” to God for the “one” matters. Men throughout the Bible said “yes” to God, and He wants that to be true of us. Donna shares powerful examples of her obedience to respond by the Holy Spirit to the one who needed her and Him.
