There was communion and an anointing service for healing. Sermon: Your prayers can make a difference in others’ lives, bringing God’s will on earth. He shared the six ways to pray to bring heavenly interference into peoples’ lives. Pastor Syd reviewed his overseas trip and anointed Pastor Jen to confirm her as CWI’s pastor with Pastor Syd.

Pastor Syd preached his 12th message on prayer. Jesus quoted the Old Covenant calling the temple , the house of prayer. Since the 1100s, the church has been called a house of worship. Our meetings should be times of prayer, conversation with the Father. Prayer is power and is the earthly license for heavenly interference. We need to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways. Surrender to Him and receive His grace.

Different situations require different kinds of prayer. Pastor Syd powerfully exhorted us to intercede for God’s will to be done and for other people. Intercession may require laboring fervently. He gave Biblical examples of intercession, as well as personal ones.
