Offering: Pat Murphy ministered the offering message from Mal. 3:15-18. When you give, give with faith and worship, and bring your offerings with an expression of love to God. Dale Armstrong: Text: Eph. 1:16-20. Pray to find your calling. There are three core elements. We are to Transform, Equip And Mobilize. God transforms our lives and our thinking to be more like Jesus. Jesus crossed the sea in a storm to reach one demon-possessed man. Satan will try to stop whatever you try to do. Transformation goes into responsibility. Mobilization sends people out. Your calling gives you hope (Eph. 1:18). There is no destiny or purpose in evolution. There are no accidents. God has a plan for your life. Ask God why you are here and hold onto the hope of your calling. Hope is a sure cure for depression. #1 God has put desires in you. Ps. 37:4. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. There are two kinds of desires: the intrinsic desires of what’s inside of you, and there is the desire you pick up from the flesh, devil, and the world. You are responsible to not let go of the desires of God’s plan. Don’t mix the desires He gives with those of the world and flesh. For example, you may have a desire to be a doctor, or you may have a desire to be rich. #2 He gives you relationships. Make disciples and don’t use people. Serve the body and commit to it and don’t divorce your pastor. Value relationships and note divine appointments. Pastor Dale shares several experiences of divine appointments. Ask God for wisdom for the day and for His plan and calling for you.
