Speaker:

Offering Message: In John 6:5 Jesus asked Philip to do beyond what he could do. Don’t measure what God asks you to do by what’s in your pocketbook. It’s “His treat”. God is a good communicator. We can go as much by what God does NOT say as much as what He does say. Sermon Message: The first part of Pastor Dale’s teaching on “Divine Guidance” was that your integrity will guide you. Do what you say you will do. Secondly, godly counsel, through a book or other people, can help lead you. People are put into your life to teach you and to give you another perspective through their experiences. Thirdly, obeying the Word guides you. God has given us everything that relates to life and godliness. Satan tries to deceive and complicate things, but slow down and separate the issues in complicated problems. When you are in the will of God, He honors your obedience. I John 1:5 tells us that God is light, and we are to walk in the light of God’s Word and in His fellowship. As we surrender to God, we can be lead by Him. If you are in confusion, doubt, fear, etc. do not make decisions. I John 2:9-11- unforgiveness and walking in unrepented sin clouds the mind and produces a shadow of doubt. Check on your relationship with the Lord. John 16:7-9 tells us that a believer should not walk in condemnation. The Holy Spirit will convict of in, so don’t let the world’s standards or another person judge you. Let God show you your sins and ask to be cleansed. I John 1:9- If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Heb. 4:16 tells us that we can come boldly into the throne room and receive mercy. Let God examine your heart and don’t get paranoid about sin. John 8:12- Walk in the light of life. Repentance puts you into a different state of mind. How do you keep out of trouble? Walk in love. What would love do? Let love direct your decisions.
