Apostolic Ministry Part 1

Texts: Eph. 2:18-22; Eph. 4:7-13; Romans 15:18-20; Matt. 23:37. Ephesians 4:20 states that we are built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, and Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone. The foundation of the apostles and the prophets must be recognized. The purpose of the five-fold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) is to equip the saints for ministry and to bring the body to unity of faith and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
