Preparation Time

Thursday June 25, 2020
Listen

Pastor Bob Hawk read out of Psalms 37:23. Preparation time is never waisted time. You got to wake up and understand that we have to take our authority. If we don’t pray and intercede we could loose our freedom to be able to meet in churches and worship the way we do. The sermon belongs to us as the church. Part of the grace is to take the influence. We got to take to the heart of God and pray things through. Prayer for Apostle Dale took place.  Pastor Pat read out of Malachi 3:16-18. You don’t get promoted until you take the next step. Don’t minimize what God has call you to do. Prayer for Governor Wolf took place. Pastor Pat referenced Job 22:30. Man is a moral agent, mention by Apostle Dale. Karen read out of 1 Timothy 2 and 2 Thessalonians 2:10. 1 John 5 was referenced.

Pastor Pat Murphy referenced Hebrews 10:24. God’s heart speaks. John 1:1-5, Jesus is the expression of the word. Be doers of the word and not hearers only. We don’t put a whole lot of value on the word spoken. You can’t study physics and not see God. Do you read the Word looking for Jesus? Hebrews 4 was referenced. If you can do anything. If you can believe all things that are possible. His word is truth. Do you give God’s word honor. God wanted us to be a part of what He is doing. If you love God with all of your strength everything will fall into play. Majority space is nothing and the thing that makes it work is the Word. Read the word with value. John 6:33, the word is Spirit and life. Pastor Pat read from Psalms 119 and Psalms 107:20. Pastor Pat mentioned that he has to be a doer of the word. You would be able to tell where a person is by the things that they do. Mark 9:23-24, His word is truth

We are to duplicate Jesus. Be an example to and of the believer. We are the image of God. Model what you want to see in those who follow you. Excellence requires a higher standard. Demonstrate the kingdom of God. People will know you are Jesus’ disciples if you have love one for another (John 13:35). Love is proactive, looking for ways for others to prosper. Commit to stand with your pastor. The just will live by faith (Habakkuk 2). Faith is absolute trust in God. God’s Word is settled forever. He is! We are! Wisdom is in me. Get closer to God. His promises do not change. Do you believe God? Do your disciples follow Christ? Go to war with the Word and win. Demonstrate: Be holy as He is holy. It’s perfectly natural to be supernatural. Hang out with the genius of the Holy Spirit. Use every opportunity to share Jesus. Discipleship begins with parenting. Give no intentional offense that the ministry be blamed (2 Corinthians 6:3). Live a life of faith and live a life of holiness and integrity. Demonstrate what you want your disciples to emulate. Make disciples!

Discipleship

The goal of discipling is for someone else to become just like you. It is not the same as teaching. Serving is not glamorous. The church exists to worship, and disciples exist to make it happen without distraction. We are trained to demonstrate the kingdom. Be bold and do the Word wherever you are- Costco or Walmart. Disciples need to be teachable, learning from their masters or leaders. To be a witness means laying down your life. The disciples had to wait for the Holy Spirit. Elisha had to stick closely to Elijah. Real disciples do not quit but endure to the end. Disciples ask a lot of questions. They will work for free or pay to work. They are going someplace. They are part of a team. They do what they are supposed to do. They demonstrate the kingdom of God. When Jesus comes, what will you be doing? Disciples are chosen on purpose. They will get the work done. Do the ministry. Other Scriptures: Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:1; Romans13:11– 14:4.

We are here to make disciples, which is kingdom business. We are to transform the world. Pass the baton, so the kingdom continues. Mark 16:15-18 says that we are to demonstrate and teach the kingdom. Go, because we love people. Preach the Gospel at all times. Wherever you are is a revival center. Who are you training to take your place? Discipleship is about growing and multiplying the work. If a ministry isn’t growing, it isn’t discipling people. Demonstrate the kingdom: cast out demons, speak in tongues. Teach people how to flow with the Holy Spirit. Take time to learn, submit to leadership and one another, and do everything so you know what your calling is. You are not responsible for what your disciple does, but model to him. We are not settlers, but doers. Send out with power and authority and be willing to go. Vision gives direction.

Let Your Light Shine

Offering Message: Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you… You won’t be able to contain it, because you’ll keep sharing it and increasing others. Respond to God’s nudges. Sermon Message: (John 9:4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me…) (Matt. 5:14-16 Let your light shine before men…) You are the light. Let your light shine by your works, and don’t be afraid to let people know you’re a Christian. God strategically places us as a light to guide others to salvation, deliverance, and freedom. We are here to do Jesus’ works. We must make a difference in our community. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. Be light where you are and obey the nudges of the Holy Spirit. There are never enough workers in the church. You are here for a reason, and we can change our world by being a light. Be the church. (Pastor Pat shares many testimonies in his sermon.)

Offering message: Pastor Pat shares his testimony of God’s faithfulness. Luke 6:38 You give, and God gives to you. Joseph got what the Father promised, even though he went through bad times. We give because we are like our Father. Sermon message: Col. 3:23 Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly as to the Lord and not to man. Give God you all. We are working as unto God. We represent God, so do it well. Impact peoples’ lives wherever you go. Cooperate with God. Col.3:17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of Jesus, as if Jesus did it, giving thanks to God. Others will give thanks, too, because of what we do and say. Prov. 22:29 Be diligent in business, and you will stand before kings. The reward is God’s blessing.

Cooperate With God In Faith

Heb. 11:6, 7-19. Faith is taking God at His Word and acting on it. It will come to pass if we cooperate with God. Abraham took God at His word and acted accordingly. In Matt. 8:5-10 the centurion had faith in Jesus Christ to speak the word and his servant would be healed. God has a plan for your life, and it is for you to have a future, to prosper, and have hope. Pat shares how John G. Lake and Smith Wigglesworth, and Dick Mills simply believed, agreed, and acted on God’s Word. Faith appropriates the promise. Believe God and let Him do the job. At the end of the recording of the sermon is the offering message by Gene English. Tithing should be a core value and brings a blessing on us and our possessions. Listen as he tells of a supernatural blessing his family experienced.

Prayer

Wednesday October 28, 2009

James 5:16. Our prayers are effective if we are in right alignment with God. When righteous people pray in the Spirit, we pray the perfect will of God. Prayer is interactive dialogue. You must listen to God and put your ear to His heart. Sometimes we need to repent before we can hear God’s voice. Be in God’s presence. Be a worshiper. When you pray, you can change the course of history for nations, a business, the people you are praying for. How do you get manifestations? Pray! God will change things from the inside out. Hook up with God in prayer. Look for people who need Jesus and pray for them. We are in covenant relationship with God: what is His is ours. Prayer is the tool that changes everything. It causes faith to rise because we have heard the Word from God. God is still on the throne! Big things happen when righteous people in alignment pray.

Prosper and Be In Health

Wednesday September 2, 2009
Speaker:

III John 2 (all to prosper) is for everyone. Ask God why it is not happening for you. Is it because you have gone on the path away from God? Is it because your words do not line-up with the Word of God? The only thing between you and the manifestation of healing for you is faith. Do not consider your flesh, but DO THE WORD! SPEAK THE WORD! We will only do and act on what we truly believe. Be the church and take the Gospel to the world.
