John 4:23 True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him.
These few scriptures help establish what we are trying to accomplish in the Praise and Worship ministry. We desire God’s manifest presence in our services, a connection as we seek Him in truth and humility. Offering enthusiastic praise, giving thanks and honoring Him with our love and adoration. We incorporate a variety of musical expressions, leaning towards contemporary edgy style. We purpose to give opportunity to those called to this ministry as leaders, instrumentalists and technical support. We want to encourage participation in our congregation and make it easy for them to enter in using technology to enhance our worship times, giving Him all the glory as we connect to His heart.

Leadership
About Jon Fike
Jon has been leading worship for over forty years in local churches. He led worship at The Worship Center in Leola PA for fifteen years and the last sixteen years at Church of the Word International. Also he has traveled internationally on short term missions trips to Nigeria, Brazil, Mexico, Kenya and India where he lived for six months. He has ministered in New York, Maryland, Louisiana, Florida, California, Colorado, Virginia and Pennsylvania for various types of outreach. Whether in the local church, foreign or local missions, or on the streets his purpose is to use the gift of music in his life to connect people in relationship with God and train others how to flow in unity with the Holy Spirit.
