Our mission is to equip couples and families to hear, obey, and become His voice to our community and the nations. To do this, it is vital that we are not only spending time sharpening one another, but also spending time in the Word and the presence of God.
We have a passion not only for couples and families of this generation, but also for the lost, brokenhearted, and poor. Join us as we knit our hearts together as a team of couples and families—rising up as leaders in this generation—to go into all the world and preach the Gospel!

Who We Are
Kevin and Kelly Burrows, along with their four children, reside in Lancaster County and have been part of Church of the Word Lancaster since 2009. Their passion for pouring into couples and families led them to begin leading the Family Life Group in 2010. They desire to see God’s Kingdom advance and His people firmly established in Him, connected as the family of God.
With a heart for counseling and discipleship, Kevin and Kelly work together to guide couples and singles into freedom and wholeness—spirit, soul, and body. They also co-wrote and teach Semesters 6 & 7 of the Counseling and Discipleship Track as part of the Leadership Training School.
Beyond Family Life Ministry, Kevin and Kelly are actively involved in various ministries at Church of the Word. They serve as homegroup leaders, pastoral care team ministers, and regularly participate in local outreach at City Gate Columbia. Kevin is also part of the worship team, leading worship monthly in Lancaster and assisting in the church plant in Richmond. Kelly serves as Children’s Ministry Director and Global Administrator of the Leadership Training School.
As a family, they enjoy music, traveling, skiing, sports, and walking out the Lord’s calling on their lives.
