Offering message: (Pat Murphy) Is. 9:6-7 – of the increase of His government and peace there is no end. You cannot come to the end of His provisions and peace, meaning nothing missing, nothing lacking, and nothing needed. He’s given us His peace, and there is no lack. Faith is what is between the promise and the manifestation. If there’s a need, there is a seed for it. If you have lack, you may have failed to sow seed in the past. Rom. 8:26 tells us that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weaknesses. He helps us go from glory to glory. Jesus said it would be better if He went away so that another (one of the same kind- the Holy Spirit) would come in His place and be in us. The Holy Spirit helps us in our prayer life. Intercession is like rescuing and helping someone who is trapped in a quandry. I Cor. 10:13 – God is faithful and won’t allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to stand. He will give us the Word to stand on in order to escape. Irfirmities are our inabilities to produce. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, one who is called alongside to help. Heb. 13:6 – We can boldly say the Lord is our Helper, and we do not have to fear. Ps. 92:10 – we are anointed with fresh oil. Ps. 71:18 – We pass on what God has done in our lives. God is pouring in the oil and wine. Anoint means to smear or rub in oil or perfume on an individual. Is. 52:7 – how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. II Cor. 3:17, 18 We are being trasnformed into God’s image from glory to glory, becoming more spiritual. The Word is a mirror reflecting Jesus. If you’re not experiencing glory, ask yourself: Am I obedient to do the things He asks me to do? Have I completed the assignment as He told me to do it? Are my finances in order? Have I done everything I can to make this time of my life fruitful? We are to confess our faults (underlying weaknesses) to one another, but make sure the one you tell is someone you can trust. Change means to transform, transfigure one’s appearance. John 16:13-15 The Spirit of Truth will guide you into all truth. The Holy Spirit speaks what He hears Jesus Christ say. The Holy Spirit gives us shortcuts to our destiny. The Holy Spirit is our internal GPS system. Rom. 8:14 tells us that those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. Ask God for a fresh anointing. Bob Hawk gave a word at the beginning of the service and also spoke a word to Jim.
