Who We Are

Whether you’re engaged, married, or a parent of children, The Young Adults and Families Life Group is your ministry. Come and experience praise and worship, relevant messages, times of prayer, and great fellowship with the young adults of Church of the Word, International. Our mission is to equip young couples and families to hear, obey, and become HIS voice to our community and to the nations. To do this, it is vital that we are not only spending time sharpening one another, but that we are spending time in the Word and presence of God.

We have a passion not only for the couples and families of this generation, but for the lost, broken-hearted, and poor. Join us as we knit our hearts together as a team of couples and families, who are rising up as leaders in this generation, to go into all the world and preach the Gospel! This is your chance to connect with other families who have similar passions and are growing together in the Lord.

Join Us

Our regular group meetings: These meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of every month at 6:30 pm, at Kevin & Kelly Burrows home. We have a time of worship, teaching of the Word, and prayer, followed by a time of fellowship and light snacks. Childcare is provided. The regular group meetings are subject to a change of date in the event that the 1st Saturday of a month falls on a holiday weekend or already planned event for the entire church body of CWI.

Special Events: Every year, we will have special events including summer picnics and a fall barn party. Other special events will include participation in outreach projects, prayer meetings, women’s, men’s, or children’s events, and a family day outing to the ocean in the summer.
