We need not to be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because it is the power in our lives to overcome sin and to get us on track. The Gospel we live by brings change and joy. We don't need to be afraid of the will of God. In order to have victory, we must have battles. Our conflicts will cause us to rise above them and cause us to achieve. We need power to be bold.

-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- Texts: Eph. 4:29 and I Thess. 5:16. The Holy Spirit has a sensitive nature. It doesn't take much to grieve or quench Him, nor to welcome Him. We grieve the Spirit when we suppress and try to control the ministry gifts and the Holy Spirit in someone. We must yield to the Spirit, because He wants to use us. We shouldn't be afraid of the supernatural, nor allow the fear of failure to keep us in bondage. We stay in the Spirit and move in the Spirit by the hearing of faith (Gal. 3:2). Move on, not allowing the hurts of life to keep us from flowing in the Spirit.

Communion is very special, holy, miraculous, beautiful. Even though Jesus fully knew the meaning of what He was doing at the Lord's Supper and the disciples didn't, He gave thanks to God that He could offer Himself. The blood is for the forgiveness for the remission of sins. The breaking of the bread represents the stripes on His body for our bodies' healing. Paul was hindered, and we will be, too, if we are doing God's will. Religious spirits and an elitist attitude are respectable demons, as bad as demons from anywhere in the world. There is a danger in dealing with financial power: covetousness, greed, and deceitfulness. The Bible teaches that His people can be righteous and rich, rather than its being an either/or deal. It is wrong to use what you get from God on yourself only.

- Church of the Word Sermons
- With Hebrews 11:1 as a starting point, Pastor Dale builds on the necessary foundation of faith. First comes hope, and then faith. Using the analogy of concrete being poured into a wooden form, he compared faith to the concrete being shaped by the wooden form (hope). We will have more faith the more we trust God and have a close relationship with Him. We will get tossed about, but we are to stand our ground, not waver, and not doubt in our hearts.

- Pastor Dale teaches on grace for our lives. We will grow naturally, but grace isn't enough and in order to increase we need discipline and pressure. Once Jesus was subject (continuously obedient and submitted) to His parents, (Luke 2:41-52) He increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men. It's premature for a person to launch out in ministry with just ability, knowledge of the person's calling, and age. Increase means to make a road, to clear and cut a path. The pressure of submission helps us get out of ourselves, and then we can minister out of our strength, victory, and deliverance.

- Starting with Matthew 16:15-18, Pastor Dale preached the Resurrection Day sermon. Although Peter knew Jesus' divinity, it has hidden from the people, so that He would be crucified and resurrected, providing salvation for all humanity. It offends Jesus when we are not willing to sacrifice for Him. Taking up our cross means our dying on it. Before Jesus' resurrection, out of man's heart came evil, but since the resurrection, we've been raised from the dead, meaning that now evil comes from the works of the flesh, according to Paul in Galatians 5:19. Our spirits are born again, but we still need to deal with the flesh and our minds.

- Church's foundation is the apostolic and prophetic ministries linked to Jesus Christ Himself (not His principles) as the Chief Cornerstone. Apostle Paul wouldn't build on someone else's ministry. We're not called to do everything, and Satan can devalue a ministry by overloading it with needs. We're not to tear up previous foundations, but we are to build on them. Elisha dropped the baton of anointing and took it to the grave. YOUR ANOINTING CAN TAKE YOU PLACES YOUR CHARACTER CAN'T KEEP YOU. Eph. 4:11-13 There are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers today because we have not all come to the unity of the faith. Jesus is active in the Church now and so the apostolic and prophetic ministries need to be active, too. Jesus is the author, the continuous Church builder, Messiah, high priest, intercessor.

- The Church is the greatest tool of evangelism. Just like the man who leaves the ninety-nine sheep to find the lost one, the Church needs to be strong, so that the believers don't fall away when the pastor goes after the lost one. The Church should keep strengthening the strong areas and give honor to the weak areas. The Church needs to build a good scriptural foundation, not a cultural one. What is the purpose of the ministry gifts? It is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:12)

In Acts 8:1-8 churches were planted because the believers scattered because of persecution. The believers were witnesses wherever they went. Mark 16 notes that signs would follow the believers, not the apostolic. You have to go out to the harvest field. "You don't kill the enemy at the headquarters." The second way churches are planted is by believers being sent out. The Church will grow if each believer reproduces himself or herself. We need to walk in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

- Mark 11:12-25. Don't accept your lot in life and unacceptable circumstances. Speak to the problem and speak the end result. Your words are working in the unseen realm, and negative speaking is a curse, so use words to bless with life. "Whoever" can use faith. Don't doubt and waiver. Write it down and sign it. Create your own crisis by creating a desire that is greater than what you can do in the natural. Don't make assumptions of what someone is desiring when ministering to people, but ask them what they want. Hope is future, but faith is "it's done".

Pastor Dale preached on God’s authority. Order comes before increase. God is stitching the body tighter together. The good shepherd (pastor) gives his life for the sheep; he is a servant of God, not man. Pastor Dale told of a missionary who would not submit to the spiritual authority in the man of God over him, and how to cost him his life. How does God use authority? He uses it to fix the abuse of authority and to bless. (Ps. 2:1-3) Where does authority come from? It comes from relationship. To whom do we submit? We submit to the Word of God, to our elders, and to the anointing. Don’t confuse the anointing with talent. The "head" is the source of supply, and the anointing comes from the "head" down.

- Authority Over Evil Spirits
-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- In Mark 1:22 the people were astonished at Jesus’ doctrine or teaching because He taught them about and with authority, which He then demonstrated by commanding evil spirits to leave. You have the authority to command, if you are under God’s authority. The command of authority is not praying, laying on of hands, anointing, or the prayer of agreement.
Listen as Pastor Dale relates his experience of casting out devils in a 12 year old boy. At the end, the now young man who was delivered of the demons stood up and told of his agreement with Satan that opened the door for the demonic to work in his life and his freedom through Jesus Christ. Fear is a spirit. Get rid of it! Command your body to function correctly. Speak to the object, to the problem. To not use your authority is negligence.

- Authority
-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- Matt. 8:5-13 (Jesus and the Centurion). Some things are not covered by believing, and some things are not covered by prayer. You may have to speak or do something (heal the sick) with authority instead of praying for the person. The name of Jesus through faith in His name made the man well. You need to believe in the authority to use His name. You represent Jesus fully, regardless of how close you are to the pastor. Do not pamper, accommodate, and use sickness! Matthew’s version of the centurion’s servant’s healing is from the Jewish standpoint. The Roman centurion was saying that Jesus was a higher authority than him and that He could speak the word only and his servant would be healed. He said he wasn’t worthy to have Jesus come under his roof. Jesus is our "roof"- protection, our realm of power and authority. We need to put faith in His authority, that we are under His "roof". In Luke 7:2-10 the centurion sent elders to Jesus, and they told Him that he was not worthy because he was a Gentile, and he was giving Jesus respect, because by rabbinical law the Gentile does not fellowship with the Jew. The Jews understood authority. Luke’s version was written to the Gentiles. Luke’s account says that the Centurion sent a group of elders to contact Jesus, which is showing delegated authority. When we say, "In Jesus’ name be healed", it is really Jesus speaking. God does not want us to be independent. He wants us to be in unity with each of us keeping his/her own unique expression. You must submit to God and walk in love for John 10:10 and James 4:7 to work for you. "Agreement" is like a symphony where you maintain your uniqueness. Eph. 1:3 tells us that Jesus blessed us, meaning the body, with every spiritual blessing. Pastor Dale tells the story of the water buffalo calf, lions, a crocodile, and the herd (on YouTube) and also about a unique man named Ron Con. Satan can devour you more easily if you are not connected with the Body.

-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- Acts 8:12-21, Luke 6:12-17, Luke 5:15-17, and James 5:13-16 are the texts for this sermon. The baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is found in Acts 2, 8, 9, 10, and 19. Although tongues are not mention in every text about the people receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, there is a tangible manifestation that could be seen by everyone there. Jesus prayed all night. Prayer is a privilege and brings power. The people who came to Jesus came to hear the Word and to be healed. The Word is a priority of the manifestations and always agrees with the Spirit. Jesus didn’t operate in hype. He operated in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Hype dilutes the anointing. You can put pressure on the Holy Spirit to get a more accurate word of knowledge or word of wisdom. Do not try to please people. PLEASE GOD! If there is no power, pray in faith, but do not use faith or lack of it as a "pause button" to postpone the manifestation you need. If you are sick, you call for the elders of the church and let them pray over you. The prayer of faith will save the sick. PRAYER + THE WORD = MANIFESTED POWER. Part 2 is a principle of giving teaching- Using Luke 6:36-38 Pastor Dale expounds on the word "measure". "Measure" here is not an amount, but a principle or manner of giving, so "it" is given back to you the way you give. For example, Pastor Dale shared how he received $6000 needed for a trip to Russia at "the last minute", and the Lord showed him how hesitant he (Pastor Dale) had been to give a new suit to the drummer at his church. The "measures" of giving are: 1) Be quick to give. 2) Give your best. 3) Give something everyday. 4) Sow to the Spirit and not to the flesh.

Authority is meant to liberate and to build up. You will never have more authority than the authority you are under. - Eph. 3:8-11; Eph. 4:1-3, 11-13. From the beginning, God wanted a family. He didn’t leave Adam alone. As much as God loves the individual person, it isn’t about one person. It’s about the Body, the Church. The members of the five-fold ministry must love one another and work together to equip the Body. The faster and stronger the Body grows, the faster and stronger the individuals in it grow. Unity doesn’t mean conformity; the Body needs differences. Not everybody sees things the way you do, because you see things in light of the calling you have. Get hooked up with a local church, and don’t float from one part of the Body to another. There’s a limit as to how far we can go, and then someone else has to carry it from there, just like Moses and Joshua. Your point of offense is your point of deliverance, because that’s where the crisis came. Break through the past and tap into what God is doing in the church.

- Prov. 4:20-23; Ps. 107:17-20; Matt. 12:34-37;Mark 4:14-19. You must "keep" (protect, guard) your heart. God’s Word is medicine (health) to your heart, and it goes to healing the flesh. Sickness is always from sin, from Adam’s sin on. Jesus Christ came to destroy the curse of sickness. Your words reflect what is in your heart; you must give account of the idle, non-operative words your speak. Fill your heart with the Word of God, because prosperity and healing begin in your heart. Meditate (mutter, repeat) the Word like in the negative you might worry. MAKE THE WORD FIRST PRIORITY IN YOUR LIFE. Satan comes after the Word in your heart to stop your prosperity by putting affliction on you. The Word will produce according to your heart condition. How do you heal the human spirit? Pull out the "weeds" (deceitfulness of riches, lusts or pressures, cares of this world.) Renew your mind- change the patterns of your mind. Control your thoughts with the Word. Pastor Dale shares a testimony of extreme depression and anger that he needed to change in his life.

- This is the morning the church members were "grandfathered" in. Eph. 3:5-6, 10. The Body is to serve the Lord, and not to be takers. God gave up Jesus, and He is willing to give you up for the purpose of the Gospel. The joy that Jesus had in going to the cross was God’s plan for the church. People will gather, even in extreme persecution, because they have the vision of what the church is. We are in a family, are fellow partakers and heirs. We are to reveal God’s wisdom to principalities and powers. Is that what your church is doing? Your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, but if you reject Jesus Christ, your name is removed. What is church membership? It is accepting the Lordship of Jesus Christ and finding your function in the body. Look for ways to serve and to give. Rom. 12:3 You must have purpose. Realize who you are and how you fit into the body. You are a member of the person sitting beside you in a church service or wherever you are with other believers.

- How can you have faith for healing? (1) God’s personality is to heal, because He is the healer (ex. 15:26; Ex. 23:25). (2) God gave us promises that He heals (Ps. 91:10, 7, 16; Ps. 103:1-3). (3) Healing is in the atonement; Jesus provided for healing when He died (Is. 53:4; Matt. 8:16-17) (4) It’s God’s will to heal (Matt. 8:2-3; III John 2). (5) Healing glorifies God (Mark2:12; Ezekiel 34:2). The church is to be God’s healing agents. - When life doesn't turn out as you planned, will you believe in the goodness of the Lord? King David said in Psalm 27:13 "I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." In the Hebrew text faint actually means to quit. God's blessings are for today, in the land of the living. When you want to quit, check your love relationship with Jesus and you'll find it isn't very strong at that point. But what keeps you from quitting? Strengthen the love relationship, with God and toward others, and the strength to continue comes through that daily walk with Jesus. In Isaiah 40:28-31 God's words to you are that He gives and renews strength to the weary as you wait upon Him. But, how do you wait on the Lord? Think about a waiter in a restaurant. That person comes to your table, finds out what you want, comes back to the table often to check with you to see if there is anything else you would like. Be like that waiter and start with these three things to wait on the Lord. First, make the Lord a priority in your daily life. Other things will want to take your attention, but give your attention to the Lord. Second, feed your spirit with the Word. You may need to double your time in the Word. Third, begin again to make a public confession of Him. Purpose in your heart to talk about God. Isaiah 50:4 and James 1:12-17. In situations that cause pain and hurt, wait to hear what the Lord has to say and then use that Word to speak directly into the conflict. The flesh wants to speak pain and hurt, but don't speak until you've heard what the Lord has to say. Don't make a mistake; don't allow the pressure to get what you want to become bigger than your service to Him. Every good and perfect gift comes from above. God is always good and you have to believe that of Him. Pastor Dale Armstrong shares a personal testimony of how he wanted to quit and how he wanted to speak out of pain and hurt, but he chose to speak what God showed him to speak and to walk in love. You can't beat the love of God! Love works! It always works!

- II Tim. 1:6-9. Destiny is a process of discovery and revelation. We are a people of destiny, and we don’t quit. The closer you get to your destiny, the more divine and supernatural things will happen. There’s a cost to fulfilling your destiny- you have to fight to get it, because Satan wants to steal what you have never had and to keep you from your fulfilling your destiny. FIGHT FOR YOUR DESTINY! Love finds power in you to deliver someone else. God saved us and called us with a holy calling according to His purpose and grace. Eph. 2:8-10 We are saved by grace. God loves you even with what you’ve done and haven’t done; you can’t earn salvation or His love. Find your purpose in salvation. Sin has consequences, relevance, and permanence. Sin means you’ve missed the mark. To fulfill your destiny you must get on the right road.

- The anointing in a body of believers will peak, then plateau, then peak, and so on, but if you can keep strife and sin out, the anointing will always increase after each plateau. A spirit of faith gets into a group of people and is contagious. Be around people who are audacious with their faith. John 14:12. You can become known for your level of faith. There are two factors involved in the corporate anointing and spirit of faith: 1) the individual’s faith and 2) the sovereignty of God. Sovereign does NOT mean ARBITRARY! It means supreme and most powerful. God will call one person to be a prophet and other one an evangelist. Jesus expects us to do everything He did and more. Follow the Word, not signs and miracles. Do the work that Jesus did: He healed and ministered to the poor among other things. He taught the people, so they would believe and receive the Word and works. (Mark 5:1-5) You can’t control the move of God (John 5:1-15). Stay away from things that add to what’s in the Bible (angels, demons, etc.). When you obey God in one point, other things will happen, because it stirs up other gifts of the Spirit. Trust the Holy Spirit to reveal to you if you need to repent. Check up on your love walk if you aren’t getting results in your own life. Revival can stir up the "dirt at the bottom of the rocks in the aquarium". There are seasons of the power of God, but His Word is constant.

- Praise and Worship Part 1
-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- The move of God is most often impacted by our worship. The Spirit of God poured out on us changes the music, and brings a new song. Don’t worship the form or symbol of praise and worship. When God told Moses to make a bronze serpent on a pole so anyone bitten by a serpent would live, the people eventually began worshiping it, and today people are tempted to worship "praise and worship" and not God in their worship. Just like David, our singing should be from the Word. We can participate in worship to God through the Psalms, which were written for a people yet to be created (Psalms 102:18). Born-again believers are new creations, a new species that never existed before.
What’s the difference between praise and worship? Praise is thanking God for what He’s done. Praise to God evokes a response. Worship is thanking God for who He is. Ps. 100:1 tells us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. If you have joy, you’ll respond. Pastor Dale tells his experience with Gene Olon who was beaten in Romania, destroying 22% of his brain. Pastor Dale struggled to praise, but he did and Gene was healed and restored. Ps. 149:5 tells us to sing aloud on our bed of affliction.
What’s the difference between joy and happiness? Joy is a spiritual fruit. Happiness is an emotional response. Pastor Dale shares about the time when he ministered to a Russian who found out in Moscow that his church in Siberia was set on fire and how he gave him $500, which the pastor turned around and sowed in an offering for a Christian speaker. God told him in turn to take an offering for the Siberian pastor and a new church building was built. King David couldn’t praise God like we can, because we are new creations. Worship is not an emotional response.

He is whatever you say about Him when you are dwelling with Him. Philemon 6. Confess who you are in Christ Jesus: the wisdom of God is in me; the Lord leads me; I am the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Confess what you desire, not what you see and are experiencing. Joshua 1:5-6; Heb. 13:5 and 6. We should not be covetous, but be content because God said He will never leave or forsake us. Listen to Him, even if you are deep in sin, so that we may boldly say, "He is My Helper." Be bold about the Bible. The more your conscience agrees with the Bible, the more your faith increases. SPEAK GOD’S WORD to your business or whatever challenge you have. Faith will work, because it comes from God, not from you. Mark 11:22-24. You get what you say. The Bible in Mark 11:23 doesn’t say you’ll get whatever you believe, but whatever you say. Watch what you say, because you are what you have been saying. Master the thoughts in your head before going to bed and when you wake up. Confess: my marriage is blessed. He gives His beloved sleep. Start confessing one thing all night and during the day.

- There are powerful words: the pest-controller is in the house, the sandstorm is over, and you are free. Pastor Dale delivers the Word, teaching on praise and worship. Ps. 100:1 and 2. Serve means to worship, and worship means bowing down and kissing the ground, surrendering and submitting to God as your authority and is your surrendering to Him as His servant. Rom. 12:1 We are to worship with our bodies. Getting your eyes on Jesus and entering into His presence takes the focus off forms of worship. Gen. 28:16 You can know the Lord is in a place by the fear of the Lord and by God making Himself known to you. God’s essential presence is everywhere (Jer. 23:24; Ps. 139:7). The presence of God is apprehended by faith, not emotions and feeling good. He’s with you now. You’ll lose faith is you live by feelings.
Sometimes God is more felt than other times, and God introduces Himself. This is His effective presence. Admitting God is here is worship. Sometimes there is a cloud of glory, as Pastor Dale experienced in a service in Titusville. Praise brings you into God’s presence, and worship is your confessing and knowing He is your God and Lord. In Ex. 15:1 and 2, Moses sang to the Lord that he will prepare Him a habitation. Ps. 22:2 God is enthroned with our praises. Preparing God a habitation is the issue. God wants to make Himself known to His people. Worship takes us places. We worship by faith. The Lord IS WITH YOU!

Jesus told the disciples that Lazarus was sleeping, not dead, because He was confessing the blessing. Have the faith of God, believing that what you say you will get. You are to believe in all that you say, so watch what you say.
How can you have the faith of God? Rom. 4:16; call those things that be not as though they are. It’s NOT, call those that are as though they aren’t. The law of faith is never denial. Is. 55:8-10 God’s thoughts are not our thoughts and vice versa. He is never depressed, wondering what to do or how to pay the bills. Change how you are thinking. God’s Word will not return void, so speak His Word aloud to your circumstances and to yourself. Rom. 1:16 The gospel is the power of God to salvation. Peter walked on the water from one word from Jesus, "Come!" The boat didn’t sink, because Jesus said, "Let us pass over to the other side."

- Ps. 100:1-3. We are to worship God with gladness. Sadness and emotional tears are not worship. Worship is not about you, but it is between you and God. Offering praise and worshiping God is a sacrifice. We do it, not because we like to do so, but because we are obedient to God. We need to sacrifice our singing to the Lord; singing can pull in the supernatural. In John 4:18-24 Jesus told the Samaritan woman that we are to worship God in spirit and truth. We can only worship God as far as we know Him. Jesus gave us two "musts": You must be born-again, and you must worship God in spirit and truth. In Luke 19:40 He said that if the people do not worship, even the rocks will cry out. We were created to worship God! In Mark 5 the demoniac worshiped Jesus. Demon-possessed people will worship Jesus quicker than religious people. To get out of depression- LEARN TO WORSHIP GOD. Pastor Dale tells the story of Terry Law, who was serving the Lord taking Bibles behind the Iron Curtain, and while he was in England, he received word that his wife and four daughters were all killed in an accident. He met with Oral Roberts after a long, hard time of depression and despair, and Oral told him to get on his knees and worship God. It was a sacrifice of praise and worship, and it breaks depression.

- In I Cor. 11:23-33 Paul says that the Lord taught him about holy communion. Twice He said, "Do this in remembrance of Me." To remember is connected with covenant, meaning claiming the benefits of covenant. We are to remember the covenant blessings. We know the covenant of God with man as sins being forgiven, but it is also healing for the body and deliverance. We take communion so that we are made holy.
Giving our tithes and offerings is one way we worship God. He rebukes the devourer for our sakes.
Rom. 6:2 says that we are dead to sin. When we’re born again, we aren’t fixed. We die, so that we can be born again as new creations. We are members one of another. We’re part of God’s covenant. Baptism started with the rite of passage. It is identification with the death of Christ. The baptismal pool symbolizes a tomb and death. The tomb then becomes a womb for a new birth.

Eph. 5:18, 19 and Col. 3:16 speak of allowing the Spirit and the Word to dwell in us and then to sing in the Spirit and in the Word. Rom. 1:9 and Phil. 3:3 tell us that we should worship God with our spirit. - Spiritual gifts (I Cor. 12-14) are corporate gifts to the body, as well as to individuals. In I Cor. Paul tells about the gifts in the context of the body and love. Love is to maintain our life with the Father. The fruit of the Spirit is love and all the other fruit come because we love (Gal. 5:16-22). Don’t forsake the fruit of the Spirit as well as the gifts of the Spirit. DO YOU WANT THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT? We are to covet them. We can’t desire the gifts, if we haven’t seen them. We can easily mess up tongues, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy, but the others are farther from the human element. God doesn’t want us having dumb idols. GOD SPEAKS TO US. It marks you when God speaks to you.
Jesus is the head over all the offices (apostle...), but the Holy Spirit is over the gifts. Every office and every gift is unique, so one person’s gift or office won’t look like someone else’s. We are to covet the best gifts. Which are the best gifts? Paul looked at prophecy as the one that edifies the body, but the gift you need to minister to someone in need is the best gift at that time. When we get to the end of our faith, we have nine gifts to take over. Covet miracles and the power of God.

- Joshua 3:4b, 5 Joshua knew what to do when he got to the river, because he had been following and watching Moses, but when he got to the Promised Land, he did not know what to do, because he had never been there before. He needed God to tell him what to do and where to go because it was new to him.
We are in a new place in a new day. Our leaders were never where we are going. Like in Joshua’s day, we must consecrate and sanctify ourselves because God is going to do amazing things among us. We do not know what revival looks like, because what happened in the past will not happen that way again.
Joel 2:15-17 We need to remove the reproach of Jesus from Lancaster County caused by ministries that have gone wrong, or by ministries that became distracted or lost their vision, or by the world speaking disparagingly about Jesus. God speaks. (Ex. 30:22-32) The fear of the Lord is an abiding Presence, the beginning of wisdom, a recognition that God is here. God’s anointing is holy. Just as Moses had to be consecrated to anoint and sanctify the tabernacle and its contents, we need to consecrate ourselves to get ready for the anointing, because the anointing does not go on the flesh. Emotions and professionalism are not substitutes for the anointing. Pastor Dale shared two experiences of the anointing telling him something that he needed to know.
Do not allow a little prophecy to satisfy you, but ask for the strong anointing. Do not live without prophecy. In Gen. 18:17 God said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing?" In II Kings 4:25 the woman laid her dead son on the prophet’s bed, said "it is well", and went to find the prophet. The prophet said that God had hidden from him why her soul was in deep distress. Sanctify yourself for the real anointing, for prophecy, for a miracle.
Mary Hudson, Pastor Dale, Keith Hudson, Pastor Bob, and Bruce Ladebu gave a prophetic words. Step in to take possession of what belongs to you.
Offering Sermon:
Amos 3:7 Amos tells us that God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants, the prophets. What has God not done because His prophets did not share it? When we give, we give to a living God, and it puts a draw on God’s anointing. Jesus prophesied to the woman at the well after she gave Him a drink of water. - Pastor Dale teaches on John 8:1-12 and Rom. 8:1. Do you believe that Jesus does not condemn us? Do you understand that He loves us, even when we sin, and yet does not condone sin? Satan uses condemnation, which becomes a worse problem than the sin you committed. Everyone has sinned, and condemnation will only drive you away from God. Godly guilt is an indicator that you need to go to Jesus when you sin, and then run to Him. Pastor Dale tells a story of a hard-hearted mechanic, who had been hurt by a pastor, and how condemnation almost sent him to hell, but God’s grace saved him on his deathbed. Christianity is not morality and ethics. It’s the redemption of man from sin to righteousness. The real you, the hidden man of your heart, is a new creation. After being born-again, your flesh and mind can sin, but you can train your flesh to righteousness, because your flesh obeys you. Where does condemnation work? It works in your flesh, so do not give in to your flesh. Pastor Dale tells an experience of ministering to a senator and how he was victorious over the flesh, but how the devil made him feel condemnation. Stop condemning yourself. He shares various testimonies of himself wanting to receive a prophetic word with the wrong motive, and other people who did not judge correctly prophetic words they thought God had given them. A prophetic word should bring glory to God, not to the one giving it. A woman spoke prophetically to Pastor Dale, telling him that it is not necessary to test the distrusted (those words that are from "flaky" sources), but to test the words given by a tried and true minister/prophet. Get to know Jesus so that you can act like Him. Remember the devil tries to get people to not operate in mercy and grace.
Romans 8:1-6 People act according to their nature. When a person gets born-again and gets God’s nature, he might still sin because he has a body, and he need to (re)train it. You don’t have a fight with your flesh unless you have a new nature to fight against it. Peace comes when you change your old nature. Operate in the law of the Spirit of life and not the letter of the law. A person’s body should submit to his/her soul and his soul should submit to his spirit. Your spirit should rule you and lead you in love. We need Jesus and His love for ourselves and others.

The mind is the gate-switch that either puts you in agreement with the flesh or with the spirit. As long as we have bodies, there will be lusts. We cannot avoid temptation if we are alive. We need to draw on the grace of God. How? 1) Practice the presence of God. Consecration means "to fill your hands", such as filling your hands so full of God and His Word and work, and you cannot "pick up" sin. The time between the call of God on your life and the separation to Him is a time of pruning. We receive the anointing to serve when we are in a body of believers members of each other and of Christ. By focusing on the Spirit, we can better "see" the giftings in the body. The apostolic ministry of Apostle/Pastor Dale and CWI is gathering the called of God and setting them in their place.

- John 8:1-11; Rom. 3:9-11; Rom. 8:1-4; I Cor. 10:13; I John 1:7-9. The love of God is unconditional, but His blessings are conditional. Pastor Dale warns of cyclical errors in the church, such as the shepherding movement and now the "greasy" grace movement. Jesus died because sin is sin. Don’t go so far that sin loses its sinfulness. The purpose of the law is to lead us to Christ, so those laws you keep and follow should be those that lead you to Christ. Jesus took the place of the woman at the well when He went to the cross. Satan wants you to feel that you’re different. A lot of winning over sin is to run, to flee from it. The law cannot keep you from sin. It’s not as much putting down the flesh as it is picking up the Holy Spirit. Walking in the Spirit is how to get holy. Make sure your heart is not hard and seared. Before Christ- how does sin affect me? After accepting Christ- how does my sin affect Him?

- Listen as Pastor Dale preaches on abiding in Christ from John 15. This sermon is rich in truth from the Word of God and from the many examples of experiences in Pastor Dale’s life. (Also Is. 50:4; Heb. 12:1)
Here are a few nuggets of truth: The Word prunes and changes us. Pruning brings more fruit, as well as abiding in Him. We can know what to do by spending time with God. Team up with Jesus in your business. He will tell you what to do and when to do it. He will guide you into success and victory when you face an obstacle. We know God’s will by His Word. You can’t determine the will of God by circumstances and experiences. God prunes you before He builds you up. You have to lay aside every weight ( that’s not necessarily a sin, but something that you must put down in order to pick up what God wants you to pick up) and every sin. You must deal with the comfortable and private sin in your life. Get serious about letting God be Lord over every part of your life. Only you can make your consecration and holiness. God chastens His children, so it must be something unbelievers can’t experience, and it is, because He chastens our spirit. Accidents, sickness, and other physical attacks are not God’s chastening.
Pastor Dale’s experiences shared: salesman job and homosexual; "I am your paycheck."; Vicent van Gough; Andorra- butcher knife; church elder - 5 beachheads; assistant pastor and special guest speaker.

- We are rebuked by the Word. Do you want to be a wise person? Then do what Jesus did. The storms of life come to all, so build your life on the Word. Grab it, and don’t let go by spending time in the Word and in His Spirit. Your victory is the victory of those you will touch. Paul and Silas’s victory opened the jail doors and broke the bands on all the prisoners, and even the jail keeper received victory. Your victories will overflow in abundance to other people. You will be able to comfort others with the same comfort He comforts you. The conviction of the Holy Spirit will guide and control your integrity. Conviction of the Holy Spirit will cause you to repent, but it also establishes you so that you won’t back off. The presence, the power, and the conviction of the Holy Spirit are what we need to cut off, to finish, and to love others. Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, "Go, and sin no more."

- Pastor Dale, encouraging the church body to not despise small beginnings, tells about the Armada as a subsidiary of the CWI ministry. Using John 15:5 and 7 and I John 5:14 and 15 he teaches on having confidence when we pray because we know God’s will, so He hears us. He answers because He hears us. We can pray confidently because we abide in the Word. Fruit is the by-product of abiding. Ps. 66:18 tells us that God doesn’t hear us if we have iniquity in our hearts. Andrew Murray said that it’s easier to not have your prayers answered than it is to allow God to change you into a person who can pray prayers that get answers. If you don’t know it is the will of God (for healing, etc.), then you can’t pray with confidence. Don’t let the lack of results to break down your confidence. Be like Jesus. Run the race to win (I Cor. 9:24).

- Listen as Pastor Dale expounds on the truth about Paul’s thorn in the flesh and also God’s willingness to heal. What was God’s mercy to someone in the Bible becomes truth to us. Whatever is God’s grace to us is sufficient; we do not need to keep carrying around what Satan has tried to put on us. God is compassionate, but He is also willing to heal you. What did Jesus do on the earth? He taught, preached, and healed people. We are to be His laborers, doing the same things He did. There is life in holding onto the mercy that has turned into truth.

- Healing at the Cross is for ALL
-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- Ps. 103:1-3. Healing is about power and the true intellect of the Word of God. Biased pseudo-intellectualism has changed God’s Word. God’s benefits are forgiveness and healing. Is. 53:4 and 5 is a prophetic utterance of the crucified Christ. Pseudo-intellectuals changed the translation of "pain and sickness" to griefs and sorrows. Matthew translates it from the Hebrew in Matt. 8:16,17 to infirmities and sicknesses. Jesus bore our sickness at the same time He bore our sins. Jesus died for ALL, but just like all do not receive salvation by of their choice, so all do not receive God’s healing power by their own choice. Mark 9:14-29 tells of the demon-possessed boy that Jesus healed, but His disciples couldn’t. Jesus had to work with the boy’s father to help him have faith to get rid of all the previous religious teaching the man had about why God’s power doesn’t work.
Listen to hear why people do not receive their healing. Healing gives God glory. Scriptures that tell us that Jesus healed all kinds of sickness and disease and healed all: Matt. 4:23; Matt. 9:35; Matt. 12:15; Matt. 14:14; Luke 6:17-19.

- The Tithe and Vision for the Body of Christ
-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- Mal. 3:8-11. When people ask, "Why did this happen to me?", it is related to sin. It is not God’s intended will and blessings. Romans 5 says that even death came as a result of sin, because sin puts wages on us. When Jesus healed the crippled man, He told him to go and sin no more, or a worse thing would come upon him. In II Cor. 11, Jesus tells us that some people died prematurely because they didn’t discern the Lord’s Body. Poverty is not spiritual. In Ps. 112, God puts wealth and riches with righteousness. Losing your vision will cause you to perish (Prov. 6:10,11). The tithe is men carrying the vision of the Body of Christ in their hearts. We are in this with the Lord. Not giving the tithe is robbing God, and that brings a curse. Each person in the Body is part of you. We are members one of the other. Have a vision for the Body.

- Answered Prayer: Practical Aspects in the Life of a Believer
-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- Text: James 4:1-2. Your first ministry is personally worshiping the Lord, and the second part of that is your personal prayer life. Prayer was meant for answers. If don’t we get what we pray for we need to check up on whether we asked and prayed, and whether we prayed amiss, praying with the wrong motive. Don’t take the world into your prayer closet, because God is against the spirit of the world and worldliness. Crises will make you pray negatively for needs because of bad circumstances, but positive needs will make us pray for things to change by changing ourselves. We pray to God in the name of Jesus, because we enter in by being in relationship with Him. If you don’t have joy, you don’t have a prayer life. John 16:23 and 24. Thank God for His blessings. Be specific in your prayers. Write them down. Joy is the result of a fruitful prayer life. Phil. 4:4-8 Rejoice, don’t be driven by lust, success, and how the world lives. Being prayerful and thankful brings God’s peace which guards your hearts and minds. Controlling your thoughts is being overwhelmed with the goodness of God.

-
Dale Armstrong
- Church of the Word Sermons
- Ps. 112:1-6. Jesus already provided for your healing. It is for you! Praise the Lord, give Him reverential respect (fear), delight in God’s Word, get to know Jesus, the Healer, and receive your healing by acquiring the Word. Value both the Word and His Spirit. An established heart precedes healing, which means that you’re not afraid of a bad report (evil tidings). Rom. 4:16 says that faith comes after grace. God gives us grace, and we receive by faith. Consider the Word and look at the Word, and praise and thank God for His healing promise. Act on the Word that has found its place in you. You won’t even have to think what to do.

- James 4:1-2. Pastor Dale teaches about prayer projects. #1- Turn your worries into prayer requests. #2- Turn your opposition and conflicts into prayer. #3- Turn your needs into prayer. Rom. 8:32 tells us that God wants to bless each of us with things that are free from Him. How do we pray? #1- We pray by and in the Spirit. #2- We pray by and according to the Word. The Word and the Spirit always agree. Eph. 6:10 tells us to be strong in the Lord and the power of HIS might. It doesn’t matter if we are weak. He is the strong one. We put on His whole armor, stand against the strategies of the devil (worry, strife, contention), and resist the devil with the Word (Eph. 6:11-17; James 4:7; I Peter 5:8), use the shield of faith, have the sword of the Spirit, which is when you pray the Word of God. All of the armor has to do with the Word. Do you believe that you have overcoming faith? When the worry or conflict comes, turn it by praying in the Spirit and by praying the Word. What did Jesus do? He said, "It is written." Follow Jesus’ example and use the Word to make the devil go.

Our sins separate us from God, and His grace has caused Him to turn away. Open the door and He will come in. Our prayer must be: "Oh God, I bare my heart before You." God looks at the heart, and He desires mercy. Acts 1:8 tells us that after the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we shall be witness, not go witnessing, although that’s good, too. God is concerning about our "being" a witness. The woman who anointed Jesus was a witness. What are you devoted to? Jesus is more important than your life. Be sold out to Jesus. Satan’s sin was pride. For revival we need the spirit of repentance. Open the door of your heart, and God will bring purity.

- Pastor Dale elaborates on prayer, including: a few conditions for answered prayer, strife being the result of a lack of prayer, desire being needed to motivate us to push out whatever is in the way of getting our prayers answered, acting on God’s promises, falling into joy, and patience ( we do not change because we know we have the answer). We need to ask for wisdom, which is a spirit, so that we know how to act on knowledge. If we lack wisdom, it’s a prayer failure. We need wisdom so that we don’t fall into temptation. Cry out for wisdom! When we keep His Word, but obey and live by His voice, blessings will overtake us. Scriptures: James 4:1-5; II Peter 1:3, 4; Eph. 1:16; Prov. 1:23; Prov. 2:1-6; Deut. 28:1-3.

Listen as Pastor Dale shares experiences he had obeying God concerning giving money that made huge changes in other people’s lives and how Church of the Word International was named. King David’s "biggest sin" was when he allowed Satan to tempt him to number Israel (take a census) and because of his pride 75,000 people died. He (King David) gave money to buy a threshing floor in order to stop the plague. Your treasure reveals your heart.
"Desire and Your Thoughts" Sermon:
Text: Col. 3:1, 2. Jesus is no longer on the cross (dead), but He was raised (alive), and so are we. Don’t seek the world and what it has to offer, but put your eyes on Jesus. Who owns your heart? God deserves it. You control your thoughts and desires, and when you desire the things of God, that desire will separate you from the past. How do your create your desires? (Prov. 18:1) By controlling your thoughts through: 1) exposure (getting in the right environment); 2) associations (eat, drink, sleep that desire); 3) meditation (early in the morning and again before going to sleep). Set your affections above and imprint the things of God on your mind.

- You can be confident that God, who started a good work in you, will finish it (Phil. 1:6). Finishing means taking the imperfections and rough edges off. Col. 2:6 indicates that you are to walk in Him as you have received Him. How did you receive Him? You received Him by believing and confessing Him aloud. Philemon 6- our manner of life becomes effective by acknowledging (identifying and affirming) every good thing in yourself. Identify and affirm the way God made you unique. What is your curriculum in Him? What’s He teaching you? God feeds you what you need in the local body. Col. 2:6 also teaches you that you must be rooted and built up in Him, which are two different and yet parallel directions. What’s another form of confession? Thanksgiving- it’s a witness of victory and a form of confession.
