Art Remington
- Art and Miriam Remington currently serve the ministry of Men At The Cross as the National Ambassador (Art) and Miriam as the National Prayer Director. This ministry is radically committed men serving Christ, family, church and the workplace. The vision of Men At The Cross is Empowering Men to Reach Men through a weekend conference packed with guest speakers equipping the men with a 24 week Discipleship Mentoring Program through a Paul Timothy relationship called One 2 Won Cross Training.
Art is a Christian speaker, teacher, and member of the Armada Network, under which he and his wife lead their personal ministry, United as One International, with the message of Unity in the Body of Christ. Art and Miriam are ordained by Pastor Dale Armstrong of Church of the Word International in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Art and Miriam will tell you they are just a "foot washer" and "handmaiden" for Jesus.
Art has been in ministry for over 42 years in the Foursquare and Vineyard Churches in Southern California. He served the ministry of Promise Keepers for 13 years and was their Staff Pastor.
Miriam has served in many area of the church over the past 27 years. She has been a Women's Ministry leader and has spoken for various Women's Ministries.
Art and Miriam are a modern day "Ruth and Boaz." Each having experienced the home going of a spouse prematurely as well as Miriam's 11 year old son Micah . They have a wonderful story of God's restoration when all has seemed lost. They want to see a remnant of people, recklessly abandoned and in love with their Heavenly Father through intimacy with their God, destroy the works of the devil, and bring the realm of Heaven to Earth daily.
Art and Miriam live in Willow Street, Lancaster County, PA. Their son Zadok and daughter Kelleigh still live at home. Jason , Lorelei, Christy, and Deb along with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren live in So. California. They also have several spiritual children as well. Anne lives in Oklahoma; Sissy lives in Texas and Kathleen's home base is in Canada. God continues to add spiritual children to their "quiver". - Using his personal testimony of God's grace in his life, Art shares on the unity of male and female and also the unity of the Body of Christ. God ministered to him when his first wife left him and gave him a second wife. His second wife died due to cancer, and again God restored joy by giving him a third wife to bring him unto unity with. His wife also shares how tragedy took her first husband and two children, but God brought her together with Art, the same man who had dedicated the only survivor, her third child, as a baby years before.
