- This Celebration Service was held for a precious baby girl by the name of Skye Renee Leggett. Skye was conceived by a young unwed woman who was rejected by the baby’s father at the announcement of her existence. In spite of all the uncertainties this mother chose life for her daughter rejecting abortion at the father’s suggestion. Six months into her pregnancy Skye passed away in her Momma’s womb for unknown medical reasons. This message will bring healing to anyone who has experience the loss of a child through miscarriage, still birth or death after a live birth. You are invited to join this intimate family and friends gathering as they celebrate the life that God created -Psalms 139:14. Pastor Robert Hawk, dear friend and Pastor to the family presides over the main part of the Celebration service. Towards the end, Pastor Art Remington, grandfather of Skye leads his daughter, Kelleigh, wife Miriam, son Zadok as well as those who came to support the family in a time of dedicating Skye Renee to the Lord. Skye means: Miraculous Creation Psalm 19:1 “The heavens tell of the glory of God, and the skies announce what his hands have made.” Renee means: Reborn/Joyful Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” If you would like personal ministry after listening to this message please call Church of the Word, we would be happy to pray with you.
